Avidity Group is a results-based, strategic advertising and marketing consulting firm. Our team consists of entrepreneurs, managers and operational specialists with over 250 years of combined business, sales, advertising and marketing experience. Jason Gaylord -President/Founder
Jason founded Avidity Group in March 2003 with the intention of re-writing the methodologies for business and marketing success. Jason has a strong background in business development, sales and marketing, which, combined with his entrepreneurial experience, has helped him start two companies since the age of 25. Additionally, much of the successful creation of Avidity Group is due to Jason’s ingenuity and instinct for knowing the needs of consumers and the desires of his clients. Prior to founding Avidity Group, Jason raised over $2 million of venture capital to start an online men’s sports and Lifestyle Company. He has successfully orchestrated strategic partnerships with ESPN, AllSport Photography (subsidiary of Getty Images), The SportsXchange, RTSE USA and has been featured in such publications as the Seattle P-I and LA Times. Additionally, Jason has walked in the shoes of his clients having hired and worked with Ad and PR agencies in the past. From this experience, he realized a tremendous need for the advertising and marketing industry to align their interest with the business owner and prove their value with the performance of their efforts. Jason has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars advertising on the radio, in the newspaper, in direct response channels, and title sponsorships and understands the significance that marketing investments represent to his clients. Bottom-line, Jason knows that advertisers and consumers alike will benefit from the services of Avidity Group and is willing to prove his value with the performance of his efforts. Jason graduated with a BA in Communications and Public Relations from Central Washington University.

Kyle Myers -Creative Director
Combining the conflicting worlds of creative and technical has been the professional focus of Kyle’s design and development practices for the past 7 years. Kyle exhibits a wide degree of creativity and latitude when developing brand identities by visually communicating the client’s product or service in a manner that appeals to their target audience, while maintaining cost, time and space constraints. Kyle is familiar with a wide variety of field concepts, practices and procedures and has received extensive training in a wide variety of creative genres. Kyle’s professional emphasis lies in the comprehensive design and development of static and dynamic web sites, print design, and team management. Prior to joining Avidity Group, Kyle owned and operated DigitalTrendz Design, a web development and graphic design agency. Kyle has been responsible for leading highly-qualified team members through large-scale, complex web projects and visual marketing campaigns. Past projects range from producing corporate identity packages to the complete management of a 1500+ page dynamic web site for an online sports lifestyle publication. Kyle’s ability to produce high-quality solutions for our clients is a direct result of his extensive experience and ability to comprehend client needs then arrive at the most complete, professional solution. Kyle believes that it’s not only the final product that matters, but also the process of arriving there. Kyle earned a BA in Digital Design from Central Washington University.

Tonja Hughes -Media Director
Legendary for seeing the fun and freshness with almost everything she does, Tonja can make media research, planning and buying an efficient, educative and exciting process. A media planner and media buyer for 14 years in Philadelphia, Denver and Seattle, Tonja brings a wealth of experience from various industries including business to business, fashion, dental, vision, arts & entertainment, recreation, technology, travel and restaurants. Tonja is well versed in cost effective media that includes, direct-response and branding strategies within broadcast, print, online and outdoor. Tonja takes pride in her ability to establish measurable media objectives, by overseeing the research, development and implementation of a comprehensive media plan that produces quantifiable results for our clients. Tonja always leaves a positive and strategic impression with our clients making them come back for more. Tonja brings a Bachelors in marketing and international business from Temple University and a Masters in mass communication research from the University of Colorado.

Betty Pham -Project Manager
As a project leader, Betty understands the importance of handling multiple tasks while maintaining a passion for managing business plans and opportunities. She is responsible for the implementation of project deliverables and works closely with clients to track and analyze their advertising and marketing campaigns. Betty is famous for her ability to lead and direct others and possesses a wide degree of creativity and dedication to her position. Betty is familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices and procedures and collaborates with agents, web developers and media engineers to execute campaign deliverables on behalf of our clients. Prior to joining Avidity Group, Betty spent 5 years as a Production Planner for Nordstrom, Inc. In this position, Betty was responsible for factory selection, planning, allocation and execution of current and forecast orders by Nordstrom Brand and Product Group. Betty’s attention to detail allowed her to execute production calendars while keeping in mind the supplier’s production capabilities and capacities on an ongoing basis to ensure the best possible production decisions. In addition, Betty has worked for The Bon-Macy’s as a Buyer responsible for creating timely product assessments that met or exceeded anticipated sales volumes. Key responsibilities included analyzing sales and making recommendations on re-orders, transfers and markdowns. Betty graduated with a BA in Business Administration and Food Sciences and Human Nutrition from Washington State University.

Ardi Mekanik -Web Application Developer
With over a decade of experience in web design and database development, Ardi is one of the most highly regarded web application developers in the Puget Sound area. Ardi has designed and programmed database-driven corporate web applications for companies such as Boeing Aerospace, AT&T, Comcast, and Cingular. In addition, he’s been the architect and developer of numerous e-commerce, entertainment, and business web sites and a web programmer at Drugstore.com. Ardi specializes in data modeling and the streamlining of complex logic often employed in large scale corporate and e-commerce web sites. With a focus on usability and scalability, Ardi has repeatedly delivered successful solutions to many complex business models, which have eluded resolution by other designers. His thorough understanding of Internet and Intranet technologies, combined with a well-rounded and diverse background in multiple technical genres, ensure consistent success in all his projects. As a firm believer in single-source data warehousing and real-time connectivity through the web, Ardi employs a wide array of skills, from graphics and animation, to data modeling and server-side programming to ensure aesthetically superb and programmatically robust applications. His philosophy: “A good developer doesn’t know everything; he just knows where to look it up.”

Catherine Wirth -CRM Systems Administrator
Catherine is a firm believer that Customer Relationship Management is a vital application for interacting with customers. In today’s diluted business marketplace, she believes it’s more important for businesses to improve customer service value while increasing efficiency and productivity. Catherine believes that successfully implementing a CRM strategy is the most practical and efficient way for our clients to manage and better serve their customers. Catherine is responsible for CRM architectural design, development and constructs application systems based on the pre-determined needs of each project. Working closely with clients, Catherine develops and refines system functionality, updates system data, provides on going training, support and monitors end-user usage to improve application adoption. Prior to joining Avidity Group, Catherine spent 2 ½ years as the Traffic Manager at Classmates.com responsible for managing CRM projects for the sales and web development teams. Catherine is dedicated to helping our clients improve customer service and retention. Catherine graduated with a BA in Management Information Systems from Washington State University and has also received a Project Management degree from City University.
